Itinerary
xDay-1 : Tribhuvan International Airport- Kathmandu City (6 kms) On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Kathmandu City. Proceed towards check-in at hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken for sightseeing of Kathmandu City and also for a visit to Swayambhunath. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu: is the capital and also the largest metropolitan city of Nepal. The city is the urban core of the Kathmandu Valley in the Himalayas, which also contains two sister cities namely Patan or Lalitpur, 5 kilometers to its southeast and Bhaktapur, 14 kilometers to its east. It is also acronymed as KTM.
The cityís rich history is nearly 2000 years old, as inferred from an inscription in the valley. Its religious affiliations are dominantly Hindu followed by Buddhism. People of other religious beliefs also live in Kathmandu giving it a cosmopolitan culture.
Day-2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing After breakfast at a hotel you will be taken for Sightseeing of Kathmandu City. This includes Visit to Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath: The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous 5th century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (Pashupati). It is located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu. This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out.
Boudhanath: is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area. With its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage
Day-3 : Kathmandu-Chitwan National Park (180 kms/ 6 Hrs) After breakfast at a hotel you will be taken to Royal Chitwan National Park. You will experience a lot of safari activities; jungle walks; canoeing etc. You can even witness some wildlife if lucky. Overnight stay at a lodge or camp in Chitwan.
Chitwan National Park: formerly called ìRoyal Chitwan National Parkî it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is the more popular wildlife safari destination for jungle activities and bird watchers. Particularly, Chitwan is best place for wildlife safari in south Asian country. For the jungle activities normally one can do Elephant back safari, Tharu village tour, Jeep safari, Bird watching, Tharu traditional Dance, Canoe Trip, Biking tour, horse riding, camel riding, nature walking, these are the jungle activities in the National Park.
Day-4 : Chitwan National Park After breakfast at a hotel you will be taken for a full day safari activity in Chitwan National Park like bird watching in the jungle. If you are lucky, you will see many amazing wildlife like ñrhinoceroses, Royal Bengal Tigers; leopards; monkeys; deers and reptiles. You will be taken for Tharu village tour, Elephant breeding center, Nature Walk, etc and in the evening there will be Tharu cultural stick dance. Overnight stay at a lodge or camp in Chitwan.
Day-5 : Chitwan-Kathmandu (180 kms/ 6 Hrs) After tea/coffee proceed for bird watching in the jungle. After breakfast proceed to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free for individual activities. The day ends with a hearty dinner together with Nepali Cultural Show. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day-6 : Kathmandu City- Tribhuvan International Airport (6 Kms) You are free till you flight departure time. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport to board flight for onward journey.
