Itinerary
DAY 1 : New Jalpaiguri:- Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130 km/ 4 Hours Drive Approximately) Enjoy a warm welcome to Gangtok, a glittering jewel of the small state of Sikkim. It makes you feel like you have entered a mystical land, owing to the city’s long-standing history and for being the perfect destination fora getaway. On arrival at the NJP or the Bagdogra airport, our representative will meet you and help with transfers to Gangtok. Set at a striking height of 1437 meters, this quaint town becomes synonymous with extravagance and allure. On arriving, check in at the hotel and spend the evening sauntering on the streets around.
MG Marg:- Visit the MG Marg to have your hands on some canvases and wall hangings that depict the history and tribal background of the state. Also, purchase Tibetan carpets for your home and dragon sets with silver or gold polish that is unique for its exotic curvy designs. Taste some local delicacies before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 2 : Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir) :-A day with numerous stories and experiences awaits you. On this day, you start your day at 8 am with a healthy breakfast.Tsomgo Lake:- Then, drive for 3 hours and reach 12,400 feet above sea level to see the enchanting Tsomgo Lake. This ethereally beautiful water bodies a must on every wanderer’s itinerary. Deriving its waters from the melting snow, the views here are delightful and the profusion of flowers can be witnessed here in bloom.Baba Harbhajan Mandir:- Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Mandir which is set at a striking height of 13,200. It is a memorial of Harbhajan Singh, an army official who died by drowning in a nearby stream. It is believed that his spirit still wanders in the area to provide protection tothe people and fulfil their needs.Optional Tour to Nathula Pass / Additional Charges / Special Permit:- An optional tour to explore the Nathula Pass can also be arranged for. It is one of the world’s highest drive roads that co-join Sikkim and China. After an exciting day, return to Gangtok by evening and spend the overnight in the hotel.
DAY 3 : Gangtok Half Day Sight seen :– Darjeeling (110 km / 4 Hours Drive Approximately):- After breakfast at hotel you will depart for half day city tour of Gangtok which includes Research Institute of Tibet logy (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays).After sight seen transfer from Gangtok to Darjeeling, embark on a 4-hour drive that will lead you to the charismatic city of Darjeeling. The captivating sight of mountains that you will cross by and the destination’s unadulterated atmosphere is sure to have you gripped. Upon reaching Darjeeling, check in at the hotel and the rest of the day will be at leisure. Have a lip-smacking meal and retire for the night in the embrace of the cosy hotel room.
DAY 4: Full Day Local Sightseeing in Darjeeling:- Tiger Hill The fifth day calls for a really early start. Drive to the Tiger Hill at 4 a.m. where you will reach at a height of 2590 meters. This is your chance to witness the spectacular sunrise as its rays levitate over the third highest peak in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop:-As you make your way back, halt at the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. The unmatched natural beauty amidst which the monastery is nestled which is a wonderful sight to behold. The Batasia Loop on another hand is unarguably one of the most picturesque train routes in all of Darjeeling. On arriving at the hotel, devour a healthy breakfast and head out for some more sightseeing.Himalayan Mountaineering Institute:-Visit Indian’s first mountaineering school, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute that stages different kinds of mountaineering equipments, assortment of paintings and models related to life in mountains. You will enrich with great history of mountaineering of the world and great Tenzing Norgey Sherpa.Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park:-Sprawling across 67.56 acres, at an elevation of 7000 feet, the park is home to a variety of species of Himalayan animals including Asiatic black bears, cloud leopards, red pandas and Tibetan wolves.Tenzing Rock:-Then, head to the Tenzing Rock which is very popular spot among adventure junkies for rock climbing activity and enjoy an outer view of the Chitrey Tea Garden which is the home ground for Darjeeling’s aromatic tea.Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda:-Lastly, visit the temple and the pagoda. Both these scared shrines provide focus to people of all castes and races to unite for a better world. After sightseeing, depart for NJP/ IXB to return backto the pavilion with all the pleasant memories you made on this trip.
DAY 5 : Darjeeling:– New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/BagdograAirport (IXB) ( 130km/4 hrs drive):-It is the day when you will head back to your regular place. Have good food, pack your bags and take care of your stuff while you travel towards NJP/IXB. On the way back, recollect all the memories of the considerable range of climate and altitudes and great calmness of Gangtok.

• Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
• Entrance fees & Guide charges.
• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
Supplement charges
Nuthlla Pass @ Rs 4500/- per car, subject to permit. (as only 70 nos. Of cars are allowed to visit on particular day (MONDAY and TUESDAY close)
